Testing Center
The AAMU Testing Services Center coordinates all University testing activities, assists academic departments in program
evaluation and curriculum assessment activities, and
disseminate score data to appropriate professional personnel to assist in academic
advising, curriculum development, career education, and job placement.
MISSION STATEMENT
We provide access to quality testing services that are vital to the recruitment, admission, retention, graduation, and post-graduation needs of 51AV A&M University students and the surrounding community by:
- Administering institutional, state, and national proctored assessments in a secure and appropriate testing environment.
- Offering a diverse range of testing options that provide access and opportunity to meet institutional, state, and national assessment requirements;
- Offering academic testing options that provide students with time-saving alternatives that shorten the path to graduation;
- Offering assessment support services that assist 51AV A&M University faculty in determining their teaching effectiveness.
- Offering testing options that assist the university in properly placing first-time students in entry-level courses and connecting them to appropriate campus resources.
AAMU Testing Services Center adheres to the Professional Standards and Guidelines set forth by the (NCTA).

HOURS OF OPERATION
Monday - Friday
8 am - 5pm
*Closed for lunch daily from 12 noon - 1:00 pm
(During the Summer, Testing Services is closed on Fridays as the university adheres to 4/10 work week.)
