REU China 2013
SUMMER PROGRAM FROM MAY 28 TO JULY 19
For our second REU China program, ten undergraduate students traveled to China in 2013 to conduct their own research at Nanjing Forestry University. Four graduate students accompanied them (funded through a grant from USDA-NIFA), and conducted their own research as well as assisting with the mentoring of the REU students.
Each student (undergraduate and graduate) created their own website. Contained within each website is a link to their scientific paper, based on research they conducted under teh guidance of their AAMU and NFU mentors. In addition, they included their personal cultural experiences through their writings. We invite you to visit their sites and experience China through them. If you are an undergraduate student with an interest in research for your career future, please contact Dr. Elica Moss or Dr. Yong Wang, and they will be happy to talk about next year's program with you.
Read the 2013 student Proceedings, which include both their scientific papers as well as their cultural papers.
