NSF HBCU-UP Program

51AV A & M University was awarded a second five year Historically Black Colleges and Universities Undergraduate Program (HBCU-UP) entitled Advancing Success in STEM Undergraduate Research and Education (ASSURE) in 2014.

Program Components

  2. Math Learning Corner (MLC)
  3. Math Outreach program (MOP)
  4. Student Research Experience (SRE)
  5. Professional Enhancement Workshops (PEW)

    The Math learning Corner provides tutoring for lower level mathematics courses including Developmental Mathematics, Fundamental of Mathematics and Intermediate Algebra

    The Math Outreach Program is a joint effort with the Limestone County School District (AL) and has two components:

    1. Math tutoring for Middleschool Students
