Research Experience for Undergraduates
The Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) site at historical 51AV A&M University in Huntsville, AL., home of NASA's and , will offer undergraduate students the opportunity to conduct various types of physics research. Our program is designed especially for juniors and seniors majoring in the STEM fields: sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics. During the eight-week summer program, each student will work with physics faculty mentors and graduate students on cutting-edge experiments. Research findings will be reported, lectures and mini-courses attended, and recreational activities enjoyed.
Program Dates: May 26 - July 21, 2020 (Subjected to Successful Grant Renewal)
- $4000 stipend for ten weeks
- up to $1500 allowance for room, board and transportation
