AMflex | NO | AMflex courses are live-streamed with an in-person section of the same course. Students enrolled in an AmFlex section will participate in the course as a synchronous online student, for the duration of the course’s delivery. |
An AMflex course is listed as an online course scheduled from 11:00 a.m. – 12:20 p.m. on Tuesdays & Thursdays. AMflex students log in to the selected video conferencing tool to join the campus-based class remotely. |
Synchronous Hybrid Online |
NO | Fully online course. Instruction occurs in real-time with students participating in the course with the instructor, through a video conference tool. Course meets synchronously at least fifty percent (50%) of the time on an established schedule with the other 50% being completed asynchronously online. |
A course is scheduled for MWF 10:00 a.m. – 10:50 a.m. The course meets every other class day or every other week, via a video conferencing tool, like Zoom or Collaborate. The remaining learning will occur online, asynchronously through Blackboard |
Synchronous Online |
NO | Fully online course. Instruction occurs in real-time on an established schedule. (i.e., MWF 9:00 a.m. - 9:50 a.m.) Students participate in the course together with the instructor through a video conferencing tool. Students submit assignments and assessments online, through Blackboard. |
A course is scheduled to meet MWF from 1:00 – 1:50 p.m. Students will attend class via videoconference every Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 1:00 – 1:50 p.m. |
Asynchronous Online |
