University Choir
The University Choir, directed by Dr. Horace Carney, provides students with the opportunity to experience participation in a cooperative activity. Emphasis is placed on fundamental vocal training, posture, breathing, sight-reading, expressive interpretation and tone development.
The choir performs for campus convocations, off-campus concerts, religious services, radio and television appearances as well as a Christmas Musicale and spring concert. There is a prerequisite for participation: students must have had some experience in a high school choir or ensemble.
