Apparel, Merchandising, and Design

The Apparel, Merchandising, and Design (AMD) undergraduate concentration promotes and enhances the development of knowledge and skills requisite for continuing personal and professional development throughout the life cycle. Our program provides unique opportunities and experiences to assist students in becoming creative, efficient and contributing members of society and of the Family and Consumer Sciences profession.

Our program develops competencies in the ecological, socio-psychological, and economic aspects of apparel design, interior decoration, production, distribution, and consumption.
