Visual, Performing, and Communication Arts
The Department of Visual, Performing, and Communication Arts is composed of three Undergraduate programs: Visual Arts, Performing Arts (Music), and Communications Media and one Graduate program: Communication Specialist. Each program’s curricular offerings are designed to yield a graduate who is ready to compete in today’s marketplace or to enter graduate school for advance study and perfection of artistic talents.
In addition to the degree-granting programs, the Department is host to many organizations, events, and activities.
The VPCA serves every undergraduate student who attends the University. General education courses include Art Appreciation, Music Appreciation, Film Appreciation, and Theatre Appreciation.
