Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology program provides the undergraduate psychology major with broad-based academic and experiential exposure to the science of behavior.
About This Program
With a perspective on research and application skills, the program incorporates use of human learning, animal behavior, and psycho-physiological laboratory experiences. The department is committed to the total development of students in their quest to learn psychology and to further the frontiers of the science either as paraprofessionals or through pursuit of graduate training.
Career Fields
Undergraduate students who graduate with a B.A. in Psychology from the Psychology & Counseling Program are prepared to enter graduate school as well as a variety of work environments such as mental health and human resources organizations, public health, education, and governmental agencies and programs. The median salary for bachelor’s degree graduates in 2022, has a median starting salary of $ 59,290 and a mean starting salary of $61,871 according to the National Association of Colleges and Employers.
