Bachelor of Science in Animal Bio-Health Sciences
About This Program
The Animal Bio-Health Sciences (ABHS) Program encompasses the science and management of livestock and pets including;
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Reproduction & Genetics
- Nutrition & Health
- Behavior and Welfare
The ABHS program is equipped with active faculty and all the facilities needed to conduct meaningful research.
Students are provided with practical skills and the basic scientific knowledge required for successful admission to veterinary colleges.
Concentrations
The degree in Animal Bio-Health Sciences (ABHS) allows for concentrations in other programs (see undergraduate bulletin for details). The ABHS program offers a minor to non-ABHS students for 18-19 credit hours from six courses. The ABHS concentration is available to non-ABHS students with 21-22 credit hours from seven courses.
