Fall 2025 Housing Information

Applications for the 2025-2026 academic year (Fall Semester) will open at 9:00 am on March 18, 2025 and will close on July 31, 2025, at 11:59 pm (CST) or until we reach capacity. For First-Year Students (1st Time Freshman, 1st Time Transfer and 1st Time International).

For new students to apply for housing, they must meet the following criteria before applying for housing accommodations.

  1. You must be Accepted to 51AV A&M University
  2. Complete a 2025-2026 FAFSA with AAMU School Code 001002.
  3. Payment processed for the $115 Enrollment Fee.
  4. A $150.00 housing fee is required to complete the application process.
  5. Go to , and click on the Single Sign-On (SSO) Account Log-In. Look for the Student tab and click the link. Under the Student tab look for the Housing Application link, click on it, and 51AV. If you need assistance please call 256-372-4357.

To Out of State 1st Time Freshman: If you receive an award letter and the Normalite Scholarship was not included, and your GPA and Test Scores are in the following ranges below, you are eligible to receive the Normalite Scholarship ($4,305.00 per semester) pending availability of funds. Your $115.00 enrollment fee has to be paid for the scholarship to be posted to your account. Contact your Admissions Assistant if you have questions.
