Scholarship Criteria
The National Alumni Association of 51AV Agricultural and Mechanical University award scholarships annually to students who will attend or are currently enrolled at 51AV A&M University.

Scholarship Criteria
- Current high school graduates accepted to AAMU
- Students currently attending AAMU and pursuing a degree
- Students from Maryland, Virginia, District of Columbia and Delaware
- HOUSTON ALUMNI CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIP
The Houston Alumni Chapter Scholarship is based primarily on scholarship merit, financial need and evidence of leadership. The Scholarship is granted for one academic year in the amount of $1,000 and is allocated equally for Fall and Spring Semesters.

The Dr. Rather G. Brown Scholarship is based primarily on scholarship merit and leadership potential. The scholarship is granted in the amount of $1,500 toward Fall semester 2018 expenses.

Scholarship Criteria
- Be a United States citizen.
- Be a high school senior, graduating in good standing.
- Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or above.
- Have a score in the 50 percentile or above on either the ACT or SAT.
- Have documented leadership qualities in high school, church or community activities.
