The Office of Multicultural Affairs, in collaboration with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of 51AV and the Department of Public Safety, will host the United Against Hate symposium for students, faculty, and staff on Tuesday, September 24th from 4:00pm - 6:00pm in the Clyde Foster Multipurpose Room.
The panel discussion will include representatives from the FBI, U.S. Attorney’s Office, the District Attorney’s Office, and the Department of Justice. Topics include how to identify, report, and help prevent hate crimes; and how to build trust between law enforcement and communities. All students attending will receive service hours and a certification of completion.
Students attending the symposium will receive 10 service hours.
