Bachelor of Science in Special Education
The B.S. in Special Education Program, described as collaborative in nature, provides a comprehensive teacher training program to service the academic and social needs of children identified with mild learning and/or behavioral disabilities.
About This Program
The program is offered in two tracks: K-6 Collaborative Teaching and 6-12 Collaborative Teaching.
Career Fields
Throughout the United States there is a demand for teachers trained as professionals in providing for the academic and social needs of children identified with mild learning/behavioral disabilities. Graduates of the Special Education program at AAMU can help fill that need.
