Minor in Art History
The Art History minor is designed to help students think critically about the visual arts and visual culture. Courses focus on the meaning of images and media, and their historical development, roles in society, and relationships to disciplines such as literature, music, and philosophy.
About This Program
Students wishing to minor in Art History will take 18 hours of classes pertaining to the history of visual art. See the Undergraduate Bulletin for specific requirements. Note that Graphic Design and Studio Art majors minoring in Art History will have different options.
