Bone Marrow Walk
Each year during homecoming activities, the BPC partners with Be the Match and hosts the campus Bone Marrow Walk. What’s most important about the walk is that it also serves as a “registry drive” for the Bone Marrow Foundation. During this time, students, faculty, and staff are able to volunteer for swabbing to be added to the national registry. Being added to the registry means that volunteers are willing to be matched with those in need of bone marrow.
Those who volunteer for swabbing must be between the ages of 18 and 40 years old.
