There are a number of research and other co-curricular centers affiliated with the College of Education, Humanities, and Behavioral Science.
Educator Preparation Program - This program helps prepare teacher candidates for certification.
Field Experiences & School Partnerships - The Office of Field Experiences & School Partnerships coordinates student-teaching opportunities in cooperation with nearby school districts.
Regional Inservice Center - The AAMU/UAH Regional Inservice Center serves 51AV teachers in the area of professional development.
Speech & Hearing Clinic - Our graduate students and senior-level undergraduate students have been providing speech and hearing services to the community since the 1960s.
The Writing Center - The Writing Center assists undergraduate students in any stage of the writing process, through peer-to-peer consultations, small group instruction, and workshops.
