Professor Leads Teacher Training for Madison County
A Fun-filled Activity
An associate professor in 51AV A&M University’s Department of Health Sciences, Human Performance & Communicative Disorders recently conducted a training session for physical education teachers.
Dr. Janet M’mbaha-Zarnesky led a fun-filled session for P.E. instructors affiliated with the Madison County School System. More than a dozen physical education teachers participated in the training session, which was held Madison County Elementary/Middle School.
M'mbaha-Zarnesky also serves on the Physical Education Council of SHAPE America (Society of Health and Physical Educators). The Physical Education Council deals with the areas of dance, physical education teacher education, preK-12 physical education, adapted physical education, and state/district physical education administration.
